Office Tour

Here at Westfield Animal Clinic, we strive to give you and your pet the personal attention you deserve.

We are excited to meet you and your pet. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us.

Our office is conveniently located right off the Mass Pike and is easily accessible from many of the surrounding towns and cities.

We are equipped with 3 exam rooms that have all the essentials needed to care for your pet. Each exam room is complete with a scale lift table, otoscope/ophthalmoscope, stethoscope, and other essentials for your pet's examination. We also have a tonovet that can be used to check eye pressure and rule out diseases like uveitis and glaucoma. We offer laser therapy using the Companion Animal Laser for our patients with chronic or acute illnesses, wounds, etc. to help with pain, inflammation, and healing processes.

Our clinic also has a comfort room complete with adjustable lighting, a couch, and a quieter atmosphere. This room is used for end of life services as well as laser therapy sessions where pets can be more relax and stress free. In trying to make the end of life process as comfortable, comforting, and peaceful as we can. Outside the building we have added a memorial garden for clients to use for the end of life process or to use to have some quiet reflection time after the process has taken place.

Our clinic offers boarding for its clients complete with a fenced in area for the dogs to play. During their stay, your pet will be housed in one of the cages or runs in the kennel area. We have enough cages to separate cats from dogs to help reduce stress.

Our hospital has an up-to-date surgery room complete with anesthesia machines, anesthesia monitors, suction, electrocautery, and other surgery essentials. For our surgery patients, they will be housed in the front of the workroom where we can monitor them post-op. We also use these cages for our critical patients.

We also provide digital x-rays for our patients to provide better diagnostic images, quicker diagnostic images, and also to allow x-rays to be emailed to specialists or copied to CD for referral appointments.

Our clinic added dental x-rays with the Sopix digital dental x-ray system in 2017. This allows us to continue to provide quality veterinary care to your pet. It allows us to see what's going on below the surface of a tooth and to be preventative and proactive in dental care versus reactive when an issue is already present that requires removal of a tooth. Our dental services also include ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, and fluoride treatment.

In our workroom, our clinic features state of the art diagnostic lab equipment from Idexx. We can now run a full blood panel and check a urinalysis right in our hospital with results available within 15 minutes.

In 2018 our clinic also added an isolation room. This room contains 1 large bottom cage and 1 small top cage to allow for patients to be hospitalized and treated for diseases without putting other patients at risk for these contagious diseases. We can now isolate upper respiratory cases, FIV or FELV positive cats, parvovirus dogs, or leptospirosis to name a few.
